Does FilamentVault™ Pro work with PLA? +
Yes. The bags are designed for standard 1kg filament spools, including PLA. Other filament materials are compatible when the spool dimensions fit.
Can I reuse the vacuum storage bags? +
Yes. The bags are reusable. Check for damage and ensure the closure and valve work correctly before each use.
Does every kit include an electric pump? +
Yes. Every FilamentVault™ Pro kit includes one rechargeable electric vacuum pump.
How many desiccant packs are included? +
Starter: 30 packs. Pro: 40 packs. Ultimate: 50 packs. Each bag has a corresponding desiccant pack.
Can FilamentVault™ Pro dry wet filament? +
No. This is a protective storage system, not an active dryer. Filament that has already absorbed significant moisture may require a suitable filament dryer first.
What does the humidity indicator do? +
The card uses color-changing indicator spots to provide a visual indication of humidity, helping you monitor storage conditions.
Does every bag include a humidity card? +
No. Each kit includes one humidity indicator card. Additional cards may be purchased separately if available.
How is the electric pump charged? +
The pump uses USB charging with a 5V power source. Follow the manufacturer's charging requirements and avoid exceeding the specified limits.
Will my filament stay completely moisture-free? +
No system guarantees zero moisture exposure indefinitely. FilamentVault™ Pro helps reduce exposure to humid air when properly sealed, stored, and maintained.
